I began watching Downton Abbey while season one was airing here in the U.S. It was already a couple episodes in but I couldn't bring myself to stop watching (I cannot stand starting a series if I have already missed episodes). I was hooked! I watched week after week and when the last episode aired I was in utter dispair-season two wouldn't air for over a YEAR! About a month before season two aired...I downloaded every last episode of the season and watched it all in one weekend! This show has me completely hooked! And apparently the rest of the world (well, quite a bit of it) is getting their helping of Downton as well! I subscribe to Entertainment Magazine and they had a HUGE spread of Downton a couple months ago and a book has been released that includes all-things Downton! If you haven't heard of it or you have and you haven't endulged...I suggest you get your fanny online and watch season one on Amazon's instant streaming (free for Prime members) and order season two. I give this series an A.
